How to leave from Lisbon airport

By

The first challenge of your trip to Lisbon will be getting out of the airport, and in the video we prepared we explain in detail how to get from the airport to the city centre by the different means of transport available.

The good news is that it is very easy to get from Lisbon airport to the city centre. There are several options that we are going to show you throughout the video.

We’re going to talk about:

  • the airport terminals
  • the metro (subway/underground)
  • the buses
  • the taxis
  • the TVDE (Uber, Bolt)

Check out the video for a thorough coverage of all the means of transportation available to you.

  1. Getting from airport to Cais do Sodre metro works best correct? Our place is near there.

If staying 4 days, is it better to get single ride asses or 24 hour day passes? Or multiple day passes ? Do they even have multi day passes or just 24 hour passes? Clarifying, passes allow for bus, tram and metro correct? Or just metro?

Are there passes for attractions? Multi attraction passes?

Is a day trip to Porto possible, or is that crazy?

    • Hi Sandra, to get to Cais do Sodré you will have to take the airport metro line to ALAMEDA, where you will change to the green metro line that will take you to Cais do Sodré. We have a text and a very detailed video explaining how the transport system work, including which tickets to buy. The Lisboa Card is a very good attraction pass, check out the info here. We would strongly try to discourage anyone to take a day trip to Porto.
