Route 3 is a trip visiting one of the most unique destinations in the entire Spain, the volcanic island of Lanzarote.
Unlike our other road trips, our Lanzarote tour is not a round trip, so you can choose the order in which you want to complete each day of the route.
On the first day, we spend the morning visiting the majestic and awe-inspiring Timanfaya National Park, the Land of Fire. We make a quick stop in lovely Yaiza before heading to the region known as La Geria, of irresistible beauty. It is a landscape dominated by lava and vineyards. To finish the day, we visit the majestic Famara Cliffs.
On day two we tour the southernmost point of Lanzarote. We get to an amazing start at the Cuervo Volcano. We then continue to fantastic El Golfo and the Charco de los Clicos, we visit Los Hervideros and then head to Playa Blanca to visit the most beautiful beach in the island, the Playa del Papagayo. To put a brilliant end to the day we climb to Femés and its wonderful views of the region.
We dedicate day three to tour the west side of Lanzarote, starting in Tías, visiting the amazing Grietas and the lovely village of San Bartolomé, with time for lunch at the traditional Teleclub de Mozaga. In the afternoon we head first to the Fundación César Manrique and then we go to Teguise, the former capital of Lanzarote. One of the highlights of the day is the Jardín de Cactus. We put an end to our day at the Charco de San Ginés in Arrecife.
Finally, on day four we tour the northern region of Lanzarote. We visit the charming Haría and then it’s time for some outstanding highlights of Lanzarote, such as the Mirador del Río, the Cueva de los Verdes or the Jameos del Agua. We finish day the day in the northernmost tip of the island, in Órzola.
